"A local landmark, home to independent artists and designers"

The Rose Lipman Building is a community hall and former library which has been been brought back into public use and now houses local independent artists and designers, an art school and a range of locally focused creative projects.

The Mill Co Project’s Community Hall is located in the Rose Lipman Building, a local landmark was a spot for area artists to practice their craft in the 1960s. The Hall is still used to showcase the arts, but is also available for hire as an event space for Christmas parties, birthday celebrations, corporate events, receptions, and so on.

The large open space lends itself to large gatherings, and chairs and trestle tables, a PA system, and stage lighting are available. The venue also has a kitchen and storage space onsite for the use of guests.
